Where can you find the best quick service restaurants in each park at Walt Disney World?
We usually eat a lot of ‘Quick Service’ (or ‘Counter Service’) meals while at Disney World because we like to save money and eat quickly while we’re in the parks.
What is a Quick Service meal at Disney World?
These restaurants get their name because of the Disney Dining Plan which designates some restaurants at Quick Service and some as Table Service. Table Service restaraunts are sit down restaraunts. They typically don’t have a dress code, but they tend to be more upscale. At these restaraunts, you will have a waiter (and be expected to tip) and you can expect things like bread service.
Counter Service (or quick service) restaraunts are far more casual. While some people would call them fast food (like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy’s), they are actually closer to Fast Casual restaraunts (more like Five Guys, Panera Bread, Chipotle) both in price and in quality.
Some Counter Service restaurants will have your standard theme park fare like burgers, chicken tenders, and fries, but lots are quite delicious and varied with offerings like Mediterranean food, Mexican food, and seafood. So, where are our favorite quick service meals at each park inside Disney World?
Magic Kingdom – Be Our Guest
At lunch, this meal inside the Beast’s castle is actually a counter service! You still need a reservation, but the prices are quite a bit cheaper at lunch and the food is delicious! Plus, I LOVE walking around the different rooms of the castle.
Animal Kingdom – Saulii Canteen
This brand new restarunt is in Pandora and features bowls with a base, a meat, and a sauce. I thought they were delicious on our last trip.
A close second place would be Flame Tree BBQ with their incredible pulled pork mac n’ cheese!
Epcot – Tangerine Cafe
In the Morocco pavillion, this counter service spot has delicious schwarma platters. I always order the Mediterranean Slider Combo, which comes with three pita pockets filled with lamb, chicken, and falafel. If you’re not willing to be quite that adventerous, try Sunshine Seasons inside ‘The Land’ pavillion.
Hollywood Studios – Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner
I’ll be honest – Hollywood Studios is in a bit of a drought these days. With half the park closed to make room for Toy Story land and Galaxy’s Edge, some things (food included) are suffering. I assume this will get better when Toy Story land opens later this year and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens next year. For now, my favorite counter service meal is found at Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner. On our last visit, I devoured the footlong hot dog with pulled pork – it was incredible!
Those are my favorites! What are yours?

My 2nd favorite is Columbia Harbour House. I love anything seafood and this place gives me that. Instead of the usual hamburger option, I can get a lobster roll or a fried shrimp meal. Kids can still get their chicken nuggets, so even with picky eaters, I can dine here headache free. There’s also fish and salmon on the menu.
Be Our Guest is the absolute must-do, though. You just can’t beat dining in the Beast’s castle and all three rooms are unique and delightful to dine in. Everything takes you into the movie, starting with the stained glass as you enter the castle

Yes, Columbia Harbor House is one of my favorites, too! I love seafood anytime! The lobster roll tastes so fresh during the hot summer.

I love the Satulii Canteen, it’s one of my new favorite places to eat at any of the parks! Be Our Guest is also a great one. Harambe Market has lots of choices but What ive eaten there was a little disappointing. My favorite Quick service at Epcot is Kringla Bakeri in Norway. It’s great for snacks, sandwiches, and Swedish meatballs! I also thinks it’s one of the most reasonably priced In the park. Loved this post , thanks for sharing!
