The Best Splash Pads at Walt Disney World - Dream Plan Fly

If you’re thinking about taking a little one (under 3) to Walt Disney World in the summer, you will love knowing where to find the best splash pads are on the property.

Sometimes called a splash zone or splash area, these little spots are full of fountains and squirting water, but aren’t actually a pool. They are perfect for cooling off or getting wet while on-the-go. They are also the perfect way for kids to burn off pent up energy – just watch your toddler or preschooler run from fountain to fountain for half an hour. You’ll get tired just watching them!

During our recent trip to see the mouse, I think we visited nearly every splash pad at Walt Disney World because my toddler couldn’t get enough. Here are our Top 4 Favorite Splash Pads at Walt Disney World.

The Best Splash Pads at Walt Disney World

1. Epcot

Epcot has two splash pads for little ones to cool off, but our favorite is the one located at the Innoventions® Pavilion. It has little fountains and it is the perfect size for 10-12 kiddos to all splash around together. Bonus – there are misting stations for the adults!

2. Disney Springs

There are also two splash pads at Disney Springs, which are perfect for non-park days. If you’re planning to head to Disney Springs on a travel day, just make sure you pack things that can get wet and a change of clothes in your carry on or personal item. You might also want to bring flip flops because the ground around the splash pad can be very hot.

3. Casey Jr Splash and Soak

Right in the middle of Magic Kingdom, this splash pad for little ones is certainly magical. It’s the best way to cool off in the middle of a hot day and it burns off some energy after waiting in line for rides. It’s also the perfect spot to park if you’re using rider swap on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

4. Resorts

Several of the deluxe resorts have fabulously themed splash pads along with playgrounds and pools. You do have to be staying at the resorts to enjoy the amenities, but if you are staying at one of these resorts with little ones, you won’t want to miss it! Here are some of the best:

Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village

Grand Floridian

Caribbean Beach

Art of Animation

Polynesian

Have you been to any of these splash pads? Did I forget your favorite area to let the little ones splash around? Share your opinion in the comments below!
