How many days should I spend at Epcot in Walt Disney World? Now that’s a loaded question! In my opinion, you need two days to fully experience Epcot, especially because of the way they have set up their FastPass+ selections. Find out all the details below!

How many days should I spend at Epcot?
You should plan two days at Epcot if you have room in your schedule, especially if your party is made up of adults, teenagers, or older kids. If you have young kids and you have to choose between two days at Magic Kingdom or two days at Epcot, I would choose Magic Kingdom. There is so much to do and see at Epcot, but the main reason for needed two days to experience the park is the way they have set up FastPass+.
At Epcot, you select your FastPass+ reservations based on tiers. So, you can select one attraction from ‘Tier One’ and two attractions from ‘Tier Two’ per day. It used to be that there were two major rides at Epcot – Soarin’ and Test Track, so you would get a FastPass+ for one and go directly to the other one as soon as you arrived at the park in the morning.
Now, there are three major rides – Soarin’, Test Track, and Frozen Ever After. You can only get a FastPass+ for one of them. Even if you hit a second one first thing in the morning, by the time you get to the third ride, the wait will be extremely long. You wouldn’t be able to do anything else in the park, so you would miss out on several other great attractions and the beauty of the World Showcase.
Ideal Epcot Touring Plan
I suggest spend the first day on the right side of the park – get a FastPass+ for Soarin’, experience the rest of The Land Pavillion as well as the Seas with Nemo and Friends (not just the ride – the fantastic aquarium as well). Then visit the countries on the right side of the World Showcase (Canada, United Kingdom, France, Morocco, and Japan).
On your second day, start by turning left. Get a FastPass+ for either Test Track or Frozen Ever After and walk quickly to the other one first thing in the morning. Then explore the left side of the World Showcase (Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, and The American Adventure). If you find yourself at the back of the park when it’s time to leave for the day, just take a relaxing boat ride from in front of Morocco or Italy back to the front of the park.
FastPass+ at Epcot
As I mentioned above, the tiered system in Epcot makes selecting FastPass+ attractions a little tricky. Here are all the FastPass+ attractions, broken down into tiers.
Epcot FastPass+ Tier One (choose one)
- Frozen Ever After
- Test Track
- Soarin’
- IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth
Epcot FastPass+ Tier Two (choose two)
- Epcot Character Spot
- Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival
- Journey Into Imagination with Figment
- Living with the Land
- Mission: SPACE
- Spaceship Earth
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends
- Turtle Talk with Crush
Epcot FastPass+ Suggestions
Because of the tiers, I would chose one Tier One ride to get a FastPass for and a second to ride first thing in the morning. My ideal Fast Pass Suggestions are:
Epcot Day One FastPass+ Selections
- Soarin’ (Tier One)
- Epcot Character Spot
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends
Epcot Day Two FastPass+ Selections
- Frozen Ever After (Tier One) (Then go straight to Test Track after the rope drops)
- Mission: SPACE
- Spaceship Earth

This is great advice and I totally agree if you are an adult or have older kids, two days at Epcot is worth it! As an alternative plan, I would also suggest a half day/evening at Epcot followed by a full day. That works out great if you are arriving at Disney World in the morning and need something to do that afternoon/evening or if you want to sleep in one day!
