Most people know about free souvenirs from Walt Disney World like autographs from the characters and your MagicBands, but today I want to share several of the BEST free souvenirs you can get while you’re on vacation at Walt Disney World.
The Best Free Souvenirs from Walt Disney World
Celebration Pins
These pins (or buttons to distinguish them from the enamel ‘pin trading’ pins) are free and available at guest services or at shops throughout the park. There are buttons that say ‘Happy Anniversary’, ‘Happy Birthday’, ‘I’m Celebrating’, and more. If you wear one of these buttons, you’ll likely get recognized throughout your visit. Cast members will wish you a Happy Birthday and you might even get extra treats. (Don’t expect these though, just be happily surprised!). When you get home, you can turn the buttons into fridge magnets!
Belle’s Bookmark
One of my daughter’s favorite attractions is Enchanted Tales with Belle. It’s a chance to meet and interact with Belle. She doesn’t sign autographs, but she does give each child a bookmark. My daughter uses it in her books long after we get home.
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Cards
These cards are free to collect. Each day you are at Magic Kingdom, you can stop by one of the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom hubs to pick up a free pack of collectable cards. These cards are designed for a game you play throughout Magic Kingdom. You can also use these cards to play a game at home if you purchase the Board Game Booster Pack, which comes with a few more rare cards and a board game.
Park Maps
One of my favorite souvenirs is the free park maps you pick up at the front of each park. If you collect these maps over several vacations, you can see how the parks change and morph over the years. I love collecting park maps from special events. My favorite is a map that I have from a trip when we attended Star Wars Weekends.
Wilderness Explorer Field Journal
At Animal Kingdom, they have an interactive activity called Wilderness Explorers based off the movie Up. You pick up a field journal and you can go around to different spots throughout Animal Kingdom and collect stickers for completing activities. I also love that the field journal itself is a great souvenir, even if you don’t get to collect all the stickers. There are little activities in the book that are perfect for the plane ride home.
Duffy Bear Coloring Page
While in Epcot, kids can take a Duffy Bear coloring page ‘around the world’. They can decorate their bear and cast members will stamp the back of the bear at each country. If you ask, they might even write the child’s name in their country’s language.
Those are my FAVORITE free souvenirs from Walt Disney World. Did I miss any of your favorites? Please share them with us in the comments below so I can find them on our upcoming trip!
