Walt Disney World is a magical vacation, but if your party has little ones or adults prone to motion sickness, it can be hard to find something for everyone. Here’s a list of the best rides everyone can ride.
If you’re traveling with a large group – or even just several generations, it can be hard to find things that everyone can enjoy together.
Of course, you can experience shows and parades, which are incredible. But sometimes your group wants to go on a ride together. I thought I’d put together a list of the best rides anyone can ride – including the youngest in your party, any adults who struggle with motion sickness, and even pregnant mamas-to-be!
The 10 Best Rides EVERYONE Can Ride at Disney World
Living with the Land
This slow moving boat ride is actually my one of my favorites. You get to travel through the greenhouses where they are using innovative technology to experiment with growing food that will be used in restaurants across Disney property.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
This simple ride is another one of my favorites, especially when I’ve been pregnant at Walt Disney World. You get to ride above the park in Magic Kingdom for a unique bird’s eye view. You get to go through some of the attractions – so you can see inside Space Mountain, even if you can’t ride it yourself. For a special treat, ride during the nightly fireworks!
Frozen Ever After
If there is a little princess in your party and grandparents want to earn some major points, try to ride Frozen Ever After together. The animatronics are really amazing and the songs are classic at this point. There is one spot where the boat goes backwards down a small hill, but it’s really no worse than reversing a car.
Peter Pan
Peter Pan will have you soaring over Neverland and fighting pirates on a smooth journey that everyone will love. Your whole family can even play games in the interactive queue as you wait.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Visit your favorite cuddly teddy bear along this ride that follows the storyline of the classic movie, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. A word of caution – there is a short “hopping” scene that may upset those with the most sensitive stomach, but we have had several in our party who are very sensitive ride this one without too much trouble.
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
One ride that can get everyone in on the action is Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Everyone can play to try to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. You can try to get the highest score in your party or try to become a Galactic Hero.
it’s a small world
This classic ride has been around since the 60’s and it hasn’t lost any of its charm. I often recommend this ride to be the very first one to experience with a young toddler. Watching their eyes light up at each new scene is the best way to start a magical vacation.
Spaceship Earth
Another ride with an educational element that is sure to delight your entire party is Spaceship Earth. You travel through time and see everything from the Phoenicians creating the alphabet to a giant 80’s super computer.
Na’vi River Journey
To experience Pandora without riding the amazing (but motion sickness inducing) Flight of Passage, try Na’vi River Journey. You will feel immersed in the bioluminescent wonder of Pandora at night without the thrills. The real star of the show is the perfect animatronic at the end that will leave your jaw on the floor.
The Seas with Nemo and Friends
I love The Seas with Nemo and Friends, but not even because of the ride itself. The real gem of this ride is the giant aquarium SeaBase at the exit. You can see manatees, eels, stingrays, sharks, and more. You might see divers cleaning the tanks, feeding the animals, or doing a demonstration. There’s even a playground (in the air conditioning!) for kids to run around it.
